This interactive incursion links past to present bringing the vibrancy of Māori culture to your Childcare Center. It includes engaging hands-on activities and story-telling.

Led by a Māori Educator, children will have a unique opportunity to learn about Māori culture and heritage though interactive experiences, song and story-telling.

• Play stick games or poi (great for hand-eye coordination and team-building)
• Get hands-on with cultural objects
• Sing waiata (Māori songs) such as 'heads, shoulders, knees and toes in Māori language 
• Hear a favourite Māori legend
• Learn a Māori greeting and how to "Hongi"
