This engaging multicultural awareness workshop aligns with best practice principles in working cross-culturally and is streamlined to meet specific objectives for Australian workplaces and organisations. Recognising we all live and work on Aboriginal Country, the interactive workshop uses Māori culture and migration to Australia as a case-study to broaden cross-cultural understandings and ways of working together with respect. Presenters Melinda Loe and Hohepa Ruhe vast experience in working cross-culturally and developing inclusive culturally-safe workplaces in Australia, New Zealand and Japan, ensures workshops are based on real life scenarios and include achievable strategies and practical ideas that will build multicultural capacity for your workplace.


The workshop aims to build skills and knowledge that will assist organisations ensure a culturally safe, inclusive workplace, school, event or service delivery for all Australians and/or international visitors.

  • Aboriginal Cultural Awareness workshops and experiences can also be booked through Kotahi Tourism.
  • While workshops are generally held at your workplace or venue, we can arrange a venue if required. Venue hire will be an additional cost.
  • Additional charges for travel may apply for venues further than 3  hours travel from Lake Conjola, NSW South Coast.
  • Hāngi (traditional Māori catering) is available as an optional extra in Sydney.
