This incursion explores Te Ao MÄori - âway of lifeâ in MÄori society, including social, cultural, economic and political features. Students will develop understanding of MÄori heritage, culture and history through interactive activities, story telling and opportunities for Q and A.
Led by a MÄori Educator, your students will have a unique opportunity to learn about MÄori culture and heritage though interactive experiences, song (waita) and story-telling.

- A Resource Kit which includes ideas for post-incursion activities (e.g how to make poi), lyric sheets and links to music in case you'd like to have a go at any of the activities with your class after the incursion.

Haka workshops
- Available for classes who have previously experienced a MÄori incursion
- Students will learn a haka, and develop understanding of how and why Haka are performed
Bookings for more than 50 students: Multiple sessions will be run during the day.
